The hidden-gem play: government stadiums

Nearly every district has a municipal stadium with public gym facilities. Equipment is basic but functional, monthly fees are symbolic, and you'll be the only foreigner there — instant language practice. Ask for "ā¸Ÿā¸´ā¸•āš€ā¸™ā¸Ē ā¸Ēā¸™ā¸˛ā¸Ąā¸ā¸ĩā¸Ŧ⏞" (fitness sanam geela) at any district office.
